About Kendall Reed

Kendall Reed is native of Los Angeles and currently maintains his home there. He began his legal career as a litigator, and has been an Associate General Counsel, General Counsel, and Director of Intellectual Property for various companies. Currently he has a neutral practice at Alternative Resolution Centers (ARC) in Los Angles and a legal practice as Of Counsel to the firm of Monroe & Partners, P.C., in Long Beach. Additionally, he teaches as an adjunct professor of law at Pepperdine University School of Law.

Practicing for nearly 25 years, Mr. Reed has appeared in state and federal court in California and several other states. He has overseen many hundreds of cases and been in the position of advising his business clients about the pros and cons of the litigation process and the prospects for success at trial. He has been involved with risk management and the practical aspects of running a legal department. He has had experience with the following legal subject matter areas: employment and labor law; contracts and transactional work; government contract law; UCC Article 2 issues in the manufacturing environment; distributorship issues; commercial real estate issues; patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret law; FDA and FAA administrative issues; environmental law; import/export law; entity formation issues; and estate planning.

Mr. Reed is a member of the panels of mediators and/or arbitrators for the following organizations: California Appellate Court for the Second Appellate District; Institute for Conflict Management; Kaiser Permanente Arbitration; Los Angeles County Superior Court; FINRA Dispute Resolution; National Arbitration Forum Consumer and Domain Name Disputes; and the United States District Court, Central District of California.
